We work in various committees pursuing our action items:
Community Outreach and Events: speaker events, video screenings, dissemination of truth, and debunking misinformation about the war and Israel
Elected Official Communications: continued communication with various local government bodies and elected officials to garner support for Israel, thank politicians who support Israel, educate elected officials as to the truth of what is happening in Israel and Gaza, and fight against things like ceasefire resolutions
Rally and Merch: organizing pro Israel rallies in the Capital District, creating signage, gathering materials such as flags, hostage signs, shirts etc.
Communications: press advisories, press releases, inviting community members to events
School Board Committee: parents, teachers, and members of each school district represented in Amidah who monitor incidents of antisemitism in public schools and speak out in school board meetings.
Youth Division: engaging young people in Zionism and being part of this community
WITH OTHER LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS
Run For Their Lives has Albany, NY and Saratoga, NY chapters which meet weekly to walk 1 km (18 minutes) and raise awareness for the hostages still held in Gaza. It is a peaceful group that does not actively protest.
